of the Lassen High School Yearbooks

A Lassen High School History Preservation Project

A not-for-profit joint-endeavor by
Charles W. Dickens and Tim I. Purdy

As of August 26, 2011, all of the previously published editions of the "Rays From The Purple", a total of 114 editions, have been provided by various alumni, the Lassen High School Library, the Lassen Union High School District Office, the Susanville District Library, non-alumni friends of Tim Purdy, and the Lassen Museum. Charles Dickens scans and returns the books to their owners; then he makes Web-versions of the yearbooks, E-Books of the yearbooks, and yearbook supplements for the graduating senior classes.

The first edition of the yearbook was the April 1904 edition.
The latest edition is the 2011 yearbook; it is the 114th edition of the "Rays From The Purple".

- As of August 26, 2011 -
All published editions of the "Rays From The Purple" yearbook have been acquired and scanned.

The initial edition was the April 1904 yearbook.
The 2011 yearbook, the 114th edition of the "Rays From The Purple", is the latest yearbook.

An additional copy of the February 1906 edition is sought for the purpose of scanning its cover.

NOTE: Yearbooks were NOT published for the years 1918, 1919, 1935, and 1936.
